Fireworks

The only fireworks we saw were what The Tar Babies produced. They play sixties songs such as Kinks, Small Faces, Beatles etc.. They were the best I've seen them tonight. Anyway, here is there website address which is very sixties and psychedelic looking. www.tarbabies.co.uk Next weekend is already looking very rocking with two nights of bands to see. When is Mikey going to do another live gig I wonder?

Hi Mark. Congratulations to you and Jill getting on Rachel's guest list. Sure wish I could be there.

That's a drag loosing posts. Yea, I had a blast at the party. Thanks. No my Son is not in a band yet. He is still practicing. He and I jam a good bit and some of his friends come over a play. Wow, 3 years. Gee wiz man.

Peace, love and light.

Hi Mark, thanks for the post re; Kate Bush. The name of the song was Wuthering Heights, title track of the album. A really cool song. I just picked up Aerial at lunch time and am about to pour a fresh cup of coffee and give it a listen while I do some mundane database updates. The first song, "King Of The Mountain" is about Elvis. I was shocked when I visited Graceland to see the place he called home. Not what I expected at all.

Yes, we are speaking again, although, last night was the first time we said more than 3 words to each other. I was so totally pissed off, but am glad we are both choosing not to try and win this one. Call it a draw and move on.

Good luck with the smoke machine. Did you ever see the movie Spinal Tap?

Hey Mark,

Isn't it great about the Basement Jam? Rachel is so generous. And all the participating musicians of course!

Hi Mark,
yes, we are really excited about the trip. Spur of the moment, but I think it is the right thing to do. We will be flying on 12/1 and returning on 12/13. We're looking around at apartments in London on internet, you can do short term rental and they are less expensive than hotels, I think we'll try to get toward west end of london and base ourselves there - get a rental car etc.

It will be so cool to get to see you and Jill in person. I've had trouble concentrating on work today as I booked the flights and am already there mentally... :0)

Mark, I had a quick question for you. We're researching hotels, and most of the listings are for hotels in the city center area, or near Hyde Park. Would your recommendation be to look there, or west london? I'm thinking we should be looking for accoms around Twickenham, Chiswick and base ourselves there so we can car out of London easily, or commute into city center. It's been a while since I've been home. Appreciate your recommendations if you have them.

Hi Mark and Jill,

Excellent chatting at Ballerina Gurl's. You guys are tops.

My Son and I were blessed today with the sight of two white doves flying together. I put pictures up on my blog to share with you.

Peace, love and light to you and yours.

Thank you!

Sounds pretty cool to me Mark. MTV and blogging.

I'm attempting to respond to all of my comments. How about the doves? Pretty exciting for us. Lucky I had my camera. I took like 35 pics just to get 7 good ones. Guess I was lucky to get those.

I'm listening to the song I posted with the doves. Justin reminded me that there was a song by It's A Beautiful Day. I thought yea man it's one of my all time favorites, White Bird. So I put it up. Fits the pics darned good.

Have a great time on your own there. If you get too lonely you know we are all out here in blogland.

Peace, love and light to you my friend.
